Regulatory status

PatternX is a software tool. It is not a bank, broker-dealer, exchange, custodian, investment adviser, portfolio manager or payment institution, and it holds no licence in any jurisdiction. It never takes custody of your money or your assets: your funds stay with the exchange or broker you connect, and PatternX only sends the orders you configured it to send.

Because it does not provide investment services within the meaning of MiFID II Annex I, or investment advice within the meaning of the US Investment Advisers Act ยง202(a)(11), it is not authorised or supervised by any financial regulator. That also means none of the investor-protection schemes that cover regulated firms โ€” deposit guarantees, investor compensation, the FSCS, SIPC โ€” apply to your use of PatternX.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Write to support@patternx.io with "Complaint" in the subject. We acknowledge within five business days and give a reasoned answer within 30 days.

EU consumers: the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, so complaints go instead to the consumer authority or approved alternative dispute-resolution body in your own member state. Nothing here removes your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
